SATURDAY 18TH February, 2023, start the year with a CPR Run
Citroen, Peugeot and Renault Clubs are invited to a combined French Car Club’s Run organised by Serge D from the Citroen Club.
Meet at 10am for coffee at Serge’s house at Balmoral Rd, Montville for coffee and shed tour of his Citroen, Peugeot and Renault (plus others) collection and a nice bit of interclub socializing.
11:15 am for lunch at Rick’s Garage, 14-16 Margaret St, Palmwoods for for a delectable lunch and enjoy years of memorabilia, automobilia and much more on display.
1:15 to 1;30pm Follow that with a leisurely drive through winding forest roads via Eudlo to Maxwell + Campbell at Aussie world to check out the man and woman cave collectables and more.
For a great day out with other French Car Clubs, to eat, drink and be merry, plus check out their great automobilia, hotrods and classic cars that turn up in droves from everywhere.
Each French car club to contact their one rep at their own club, with all numbers for lunch forwarded to Serge by 9th February.

2023 WE START WITH A COMMITTEE MEETING ON TUESDAY 17 JANUARY, AND THE FIRST GENERAL MEETING IS ON THURSDAY 9 FEBRUARY 2023 AT THE NEW VENUE, MEETING ROOM 1 AT BANYO LIBRARY.
SATURDAY 18 FEBRUARY WE JOIN THE CITROEN, RENAULT AND PEUGEOT CLUBS FOR A CPR GARAGE DAY, STARTING WITH MORNING TEA AT SERGE’S AT MONTVILLE, THEN TRAVELLING ON THE RICK’S GARAGE AT PALMWOODS FOR LUNCH.
BEFORE THAT, AUSTRALIA DAY WHERE WE EACH GO TO THE CLOSEST CAR SHOW!!
On Australia Day (26th January), the Bayside Vehicle Restorers Club Inc. will hold its annual Australia Day Rally, which will be one of Queensland’s largest rally’s for historic and classic vehicles, with more than 500 vehicles expected to attend the day. The planning is in full swing for the 2023 event, and this Australia Day Rally usually attracts 500+ vehicles ranging from the early 1900’s up to the late 1970’s. There are usually cars, motorbikes, trucks and buses of every make on display at the Ormiston State School Grounds from 7.30am on Australia Day (enter from Wellington St or Dundas St East Ormiston). BYO picnic morning tea for at the school and lunch for after a rally run.

Join us at Australia Day Rally at Ormiston State School Grounds from 7.30am on Australia Day (enter from Wellington St or Dundas St East Ormiston).
Enjoy your BYO morning tea at the school grounds (tea & coffee available). Best to be parked early, at least by 9:00 am.
At about 10.30am leave on one of the several interesting drives (rally runs) visiting some of the Redlands’ tourist spots. The runs will all finish at a local park, so make sure you pack your hat, water, chairs, coffee cups, and lunch.
